Fence Building at Kanjedza Orphanage in ngabu

Good morning Jesus Mission Team, thanks to members of our team who made it to N’gabu yesterday along with Elder Pathengo to do the assessment of gates for the brick fence. We are very grateful for Pastor Joe who was able to attend with us. He took off from his regular job to focus on one of Jesus Mission project. What an everlasting difference and a great contribution that he made! The Bishop at N’gabu was so receptive to our visit because Pastor Joe was there and even gave me a live chicken 🐓. God be blessed.
We met with the men committed to work with us to construct the surrounding brick fence to the orphanage center, women in the village to help with meals for the men during construction of the fence and the center staff and children.

We have requested the Bishop in charge of the center to take several of the children to the hospital for evaluation of several skin issues. Thankfully we observed that some of our children ringworms were healed.
God provided and we were able to provide two (2) ducks 🦆 to the center for our children’s dinner on 2 separate occasions. The ducks were purchased in the village.
There still remain a need in the village, the ladies there are asking for help to start small businesses. Jesus Mission will have a small garden on the orphanage site, which will help us but we need more help financially. If any of our partners are able to help please let us know. Thanks in Jesus name.

Thankfully with God’s help, my home church, Sharon Baptist Church in the USA led by Senior Pastor Steven Lambert, faithful partners, and Pastor Joe Kachale with Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Blantyre, Malawi authorization Jesus Mission will start the construction of the brick fence surrounding the N’gabu center on Monday, May 10th, 2021.
We praise God.
We are also thankful for Brother Humba who comes to us with a wealth of construction information and planning to lead the construction team as the Project Manager.
Up up Jesus!
