Just like worldly people say that ‘’when you give a fish to a man, he will eat for a day but rather teach him how to fish and he shall have food to eat throughout his lifetime’’ Jesus Mission on the 14th of July, donated a Chicken Coop to Amazing Grace orphanage in Mulanje.
This has been done with the aim of helping the Orphanage and other three Orphanages namely: Chiswe Orphanage, Kanjedza Orphanage and Ndilande Orphanage in Blanytre to have easy access to food.
Jesus Mission thought it wise that with poultry farming, the orphanage will be able to become independent. Out of the profits they will be making, they will be able to do other small developments at the orphanage and also being able to feed their families.
This progress has not been done in Mulanje alone, but also in Chikwawa where Jesus Mission has introduced a Loafing Shed for Goat Farming and a Garden for the orphanage to plant different types of Vegetables that will be helping their health growth.
As Jesus Mission with the help from our Partners, we are expecting to introduce more projects in different Orphanages to make an impact, not only spiritually but also physically.
